Responsibilities

• Manage and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) while ensuring compliance with procurement processes.
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders to define technical and commercial requirements.
• Lead RFQ/RFP and tender processes, including supplier quotation analysis and evaluation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships and support supplier performance management.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
• Create, release, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
• Resolve supply-related issues, delays, shortages, and supplier escalations.
• Lead and support cost-saving initiatives and value improvement projects.
• Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and leverage regional/global sourcing synergies.
• Support investment, facility expansion, manufacturing, and engineering projects from a procurement perspective.
• Coordinate procurement activities for project-related purchases and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Utilize SAP and other ERP systems for procurement activities and reporting.
• Analyze procurement data, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Prepare savings reports, KPI reports, and spend analyses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience in sourcing non-production materials (NPM), MRO materials, technical products, equipment, or services is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid commercial mindset with cost analysis and financial awareness.
• SAP or ERP system experience.
• Basic project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Hungarian and Fluent English (business-level written and spoken) is required.
