Responsibilities

Finance Leadership & Business Partnership

• Lead, develop and coordinate the Finance & Controlling organization across both locations, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adequate resource planning.
• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Site Managers and local leadership teams, supporting strategic decision-making through financial insight, analysis and recommendations.
• Drive cross-site financial transparency, best-practice sharing, productivity improvements and cost optimization initiatives.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

• Lead and coordinate the annual business planning, budget, target-setting and forecasting processes for both locations.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, manufacturing and administrative costs, working capital and cash flow, and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial performance through robust analysis, business case evaluations and performance monitoring.
• Lead investment controlling activities, including business case preparation, investment tracking and post-investment reviews.

Accounting, Reporting & Controlling

• Implement, direct and oversee all accounting, controlling and financial reporting activities in accordance with ZFFCN policies and applicable legal requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, analyses and performance indicators to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting of central functions.

Compliance, Governance & Internal Controls

• Ensure full compliance with ZFFCN policies, IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations and other applicable legal requirements.
• Serve as Compliance Delegate and maintain effective internal control systems and governance processes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax advisors and other professional service providers and ensure timely implementation of audit findings and compliance measures.
• Ensure consistent finance, controlling and reporting standards across both sites.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Lead cash flow planning, forecasting and monitoring processes to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Support optimization of working capital and cash management practices.

Corporate Governance & Special Projects

• Lead and coordinate government incentive and subsidy programs, ensuring compliance, documentation, financial tracking and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate Board and Management Meetings, including preparation of financial presentations, analyses and decision papers.
• Execute special financial projects and other assignments required by management.

Competencies and experiences:   

• Degree in accounting, finance or other business related field
• Min. of 5 years accounting or finance experience
• Min. of 2 years of experience leading a team
• Solid knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of accounting and investment, supervisory techniques as well as personnel policies and procedures
• Solid PC skills: experience with ERP systems/applications (SAP Fi/Co expertise)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent English
