COST ENGINEER

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Product costing:

• Advising and supporting to develop and maintain an adequate costing method and related costing tools.
• Advising and supporting to keep the costing standard up to date.
• Reviewing cost calculations for use of correct costing principle.

Analysis and reporting:

• Participate in monthly reporting with the groups tools (income statement, balance sheet, fixed assets, etc.)
• Ad hoc studies (pricing policy, return on investment, Business Cases etc.) and other reliable financial information useful for the development of the companys strategy

 Industrial management control

• Validation of stocks (finished goods, WIP etc)
• Participation in the ERP upgrade
• Reconciliation matter

Improved business performance

• Identify areas of optimization and help line managers achieve savings

Level of education, experience, knowledge required

• University degree management, accounting, economics or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or related field
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax principles, financial management tools and industry standards
• Hungarian and English language knowledge must have.
