Job Description

About this Position To manage packaging and supplier quality by validating materials, processes, and supplier performance against defined standards.

To ensure safe product delivery, minimize defects, and maintain compliance across the supply chain.

What You´ll Do

  • Ensure packaging materials and designs meet defined quality standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for packaging materials
  • Investigate and address packaging-related quality issues by conducting root cause analysis
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in packaging materials, processes, and systems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, purchase, packaging engineering central team, logistics, and product development.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance – Raw, Pack and 3PM
  • Conduct supplier audits, qualification, and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Lead supplier issue resolution using root cause analysis
  • Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure implementation of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, and CTQ, SQC for packaging and supplier processes
  • Evaluate and approve changes in packaging materials, designs, or supplier processes

What makes you a good fit

  • A bachelor's/master’s degree in packaging engineering/ Diploma /PG diploma from Indian Institute of packaging
  • Minimum 7 years of experience preferably in Adhesive, FMCG industries.
  • Familiarity with all relevant quality tools
  • Proficient with SAP
