Technical Assistant

Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and electrical panels. Inspect electrical systems to identify faults or safety hazards. Repair and replace defective wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical circuits using tools such as multimeters and insulation testers. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Troubleshoot electrical problems and restore power safely and efficiently. Install and maintain motors, generators, transformers, and control systems (depending on the role). Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and materials used. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on job sites. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Required Skills Knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork.
