Role: Senior Power Platform Consultant (Remote – Irish Working Hours)

Employment type: Full time

Work Location: Remote for 6- 7months (Post office set-up in Bengaluru it requires to work from Bengaluru office)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Power Platform Consultant to lead delivery across three core strands of a large Power Platform project : Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Field Service, Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse modelling & Model-Driven Apps), and Power Pages. You will be responsible for turning real business processes into reliable, supportable solutions, shaping delivery standards, and enabling clients to succeed beyond go-live.

Core Responsibilities

You will have expertise in two of the following three areas.

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Knowledgebase


You will be responsible for implementing a production-grade knowledgebase that agents and content owners actually use and can sustain.

  • KB design and lifecycle: Configure article types, categories, and states (draft → review → publish → retire) so content is findable and governed.
  • Authoring workflows and permissions: Set up roles for authors, editors, and publishers with review SLAs and audit history to creates accountable ownership and consistent quality.
  • Initial content load and structuring: Import/transform legacy articles, apply metadata/taxonomy, and standardise templates.
  • In-app and self-service surfacing: Understand the processes involved in embedding contextual KB in Case forms and expose curated content via Power Pages. This reduces handle time and increases case deflection.
  • Training and enablement: Produce quick-reference guides, short videos, and deliver role-based training for agents and content owners. This drives adoption and ensures the KB remains current.
  • Measurement and improvement: Implement usefulness ratings, search analytics, and gap analysis to feed a content backlog. This ensures continuous relevance.
  • Power Platform: Power Automate, Dataverse Modelling & Model-Driven Apps


You will be responsible for modelling data clearly, building guided apps, and automating processes to streamline the user experience.

  • Dataverse modelling: Design tables, relationships, choice sets, alternate keys, and BPFs, reusing standard/Dynamics tables where fit. This reduces customisation, simplifies reporting, and controls cost.
  • Model-Driven App UX: Configure forms, views, dashboards, and command bar actions tailored to roles. This guides users through tasks, lowers training time, and reduces errors.
  • Automation with Flows and BPFs: Create robust Power Automate flows with retries, concurrency control, and error handling; implement BPFs for consistent stage progression and approvals. This removes manual “swivel-chair” work and improves data quality.
  • Integration patterns: Use standard/custom connectors, webhooks, and when appropriate Azure Functions/Logic Apps/API Management. This provides reliable connectivity without brittle point-to-point dependencies.
  • Security and ALM: Implement least-privilege roles, field/table permissions, DLP policies; package managed solutions with connection references/environment variables; set up CI/CD in ADO or GitHub. This shortens release cycles and reduces operational risk.
  • Power Pages


You will be responsible for engineering secure, maintainable portals that extend out-of-the-box capability using platform-native techniques.

  • Extending OOTB sites and Liquid: Start with configuration and apply Liquid templates to build data-driven pages with proper table permissions. This keeps upgrades straightforward and supportable.
  • CSS/JS best practices: Structure assets, avoid blocking scripts, and use progressive enhancement. This improves performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Portal security and Entra ID: Map web roles to Dataverse roles, enforce record-scoped access, and configure Microsoft Entra ID (groups/claims, conditional access). This aligns identity with business access needs.
  • Portal ALM: Manage content snippets/site settings via environment variables; package portal changes in managed solutions; automate deployment and secrets management. This prevents “works in dev only” issues and enables rapid, safe releases.
  • KB and case integration: Surface knowledgebase content and enable secure case creation/updates. This closes the loop between public self-service and internal resolution.


Day-to-Day

You will be responsible for translating user stories and acceptance criteria in DevOps into working artefacts, leading builds and demos, mentoring consultants and developers, and producing clear runbooks, training materials, and smoke tests. You will collaborate with PMs and Solution Architects to deliver on time and on budget with measurable outcomes.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years delivering enterprise Power Platform solutions, including production Model-Driven Apps and/or customised Dynamics 365 deployments.
  • Demonstrable Dataverse modelling, with pragmatic reuse of standard/Dynamics tables and attention to performance.
  • Proven delivery of Power Automate flows and Business Process Flows with solid error handling and telemetry.
  • Hands-on implementation of Dynamics 365 Case Management and Knowledgebase: workflows, content loading, training, and analytics.
  • Power Pages engineering: Liquid, portal security, Microsoft Entra ID, and Portal ALM.
  • Strong consulting skills: workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, crisp documentation.


Nice to Have

  • Power Platform Development (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management).
  • Accessibility and performance tuning experience.
  • CSS/JS best practices in the context of Power Pages websites.
  • Familiarity with Copilot features and responsible adoption patterns.
