As a Financial Reconciliation Specialist, you will be a foundational part of our Cost Controlling team and a primary function in safeguarding financial stability. It requires a hands-on and detailed mindset to navigate the complexities of provider pricing, fee structures, and received dates across the several countries we operate.

You will partner closely with our Recon, Treasury, Pricing, and Country Growth teams to provide critical financial analysis and guidance that enables smart, sustainable business decisions.

Your day-to-day impact

The Financial Reconciliation Specialists key responsibilities will include:

• Unique/Chronic Case Resolution: Systematically investigate the agreements we have with our providers in terms of settlement rules, fees and other costs and match against the amount we received. The goal is to accurately match receivables and received. In case of differences, work with providers and other teams to address the solution.
• Undocumented Cost Mapping: Lead the effort to uncover and map all potential "hidden" fees, taxes, or administrative costs charged by providers that are currently unnoticed. This requires advanced data analysis and direct liaison across different teams, time zones, and languages.
• Operational Control Feedback: Establish a formal process to distill complex investigation findings into actionable insights , providing clear operational guidelines to the Reconciliation, Country Growth, Treasury, and other teams to prevent the recurrence of systemic errors.
• Financial Visibility: Create specialized "Balance Views" (dashboards/reports) for management that clearly quantify the amount expected to be received (and when) against the amount received in our accounts.
  
  

Must-haves to shine in this role

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reconciliation, or investigative accounting.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel and SQL.
• Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
• Advanced English and Spanish is mandatory for cross-border liaison and communication.
• Proven experience in analyzing and liaising with several teams simultaneously to address and resolve pain points.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
