Position Summary:
The Budget Manager reports to the Director of Finance for Student Affairs and Academic Support (SAAS) and is responsible for overseeing the full budget cycle, including development, implementation, monitoring, review, and long-term financial planning. This role manages budget activities across multiple fiscal years simultaneously while enhancing processes, training staff, and developing analytical tools, dashboards, and reports. The Budget Manager provides leadership with budget updates, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations, and ensures compliance with university policies, state regulations, and best practices in budgeting.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and 5 or more years of job-related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job-related certification, training, education, and/or experience
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business or related field. Business finance designations or certifications also preferred.
2 years experience leading a financial team.
