Purpose of Role

To plan, prepare, and deliver effective Chemistry instruction for secondary school students (Classes VI–X) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring conceptual understanding, practical knowledge, and scientific thinking.

CSA - TGT Chemistry

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry to Classes VI–X as per CBSE curriculum and academic plan.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids aligned with learning outcomes.
• Explain chemical concepts, reactions, and applications through demonstrations and experiments.
• Conduct and supervise laboratory practicals in coordination with lab assistants.
• Assess, evaluate, and maintain records of student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Implement competency-based education and continuous assessment practices.
• Provide remedial teaching and enrichment support as needed.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Integrate ICT tools and digital resources in teaching and learning.
• Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and academic reviews.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Support co-curricular activities, science exhibitions, and school events.
• Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and assessment documentation.
• Follow CBSE norms, examination guidelines, laboratory safety rules, and school policies.
• Perform additional academic or administrative duties assigned by school management.
