Job Description: Senior Accountant

About The Role

Senior Accountant role (Senior Financial Accountant) responsibilities include financial analysis and forecasting, preparing tax returns, auditing accounts, and performing tests to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

This role will play a critical role in the Finance function working closely with the head of finance.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-day accounting,
• Managing payable and ensuring timely payments.
• Overseeing accounts receivable and collections processes.
• Review and implement required actions to deliver timely and accurate monthly BS reconciliations across all BS accounts
• Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Manage the efficient delivery of monthly accounts and associated reporting across the Group companies.
• Prepare of monthly/quarterly BAS, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Weekly WIP meetings with Head of Finance/ finance manager to ensure there is continuous attention to reducing time and improving accuracy of monthly P&L’s and internal Weekly reporting
  
  

Skills, Attributes And Competencies Required

• Financial Accountant with 5+ years’ experience in a multi-site/entity business
• CA Inter or any equivalent degree with at least 5+ years post articles work experience with US accounting is essential
• Experience in delivery of month end accounts to TB and associated reconciliations to strict deadlines is essential.
• Excel knowledge is essential.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential
