Job Title Post-Doctoral Fellow Required Number 1 Qualification Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science / Metallurgy / Manufacturing Engineering / Physics Job Description

• Advanced research in materials science and engineering is to be performed, concentrating on the development of Rare Earth-free (RE-free) permanent magnets with enhanced magnetic performance and thermal reliability.
• This involves the design and optimization of alloy compositions, processing routes, and microstructural tailoring strategies to achieve improved coercivity, remanence, and magnetic energy product without the use of critical rare earth elements.
• In addition, high-quality manuscripts are expected to be prepared and submitted to leading peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentoring and supervision of junior researchers and graduate students will also form an integral part of the responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in magnetic characterization using Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) or Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) is preferred.
• Experience in magnetic measurements, hysteresis analysis, temperature-dependent magnetic behavior evaluation, and microstructural characterization of magnetic materials will be considered an added advantage.
