Job Description

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest or experience in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounts, and a good understanding of GST, TDS, Payroll, and Financial Reporting. The candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting activities, statutory filings, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of Zoho Books/Zoho Accounts (preferred) or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and payroll processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and maintain ledgers in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns within timelines.
• Manage invoice preparation, verification, and filing for clients and vendors.
• Support monthly payroll processing, including salary statements and statutory deductions.
• Prepare PF and ESI filings and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and filing of vouchers and receipts.
• Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit queries.
• Support the finance team in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning.
