CSA - Psychology Teacher (CBSE)

Purpose of Role

To deliver engaging and effective Psychology lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, support students’ academic development, and create a positive learning environment that nurtures critical thinking, emotional wellbeing, and psychological understanding.

CS Academy, Coimbatore has three campuses. Two are in Kovaipudur (Main) in adjacent facilities and the third primary campus is in the heart of the city at Red Fields. Our boarding house in Kovaipudur is open for boys and girls from class IV for both CBSE and Cambridge International students. CSA Psychology Teacher (CBSE)

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

  • Teach Psychology to classes as per the CBSE curriculum (Class XI–XII or as applicable).
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Ensure syllabus completion within the academic year.

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct formative and summative assessments as prescribed by CBSE.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and examination data.

Classroom Management

  • Maintain discipline, safety, and a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Encourage student participation, group activities, and discussions.

Administrative & CBSE Compliance

  • Prepare question papers, invigilation duties, and exam-related work.
  • Maintain lesson plans, student portfolios, and other academic records.
  • Participate in CBSE training programs, workshops, and school events.

Student Support

  • Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
  • Identify learning gaps and offer remedial support where needed.
  • Promote mental wellbeing and positive behaviour among students.

Professional Development

  • Stay updated with developments in Psychology and CBSE curriculum changes.
  • Participate in staff meetings, orientation programs, and professional development sessions.
