We are seeking an experienced software engineer to develop a modular automation framework for semiconductor wafer inspection recipe setup.

Objective

The objective is to reduce manual effort, improve recipe consistency, and capture domain expertise within a configurable workflow engine. The system will automate multiple recipe setup stages including alignment selection, optics configuration, inspection strategy selection, nuisance reduction configuration, and result generation.

The solution will leverage existing inspection algorithms and business logic while providing a scalable framework for workflow orchestration, decision management, and recipe optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Framework Development:
• Design and implement a modular workflow execution framework
• Build configurable task orchestration mechanisms
• Implement execution pipelines with conditional branching
• Develop state management and workflow persistence capabilities
• Rule Engine Development:
• Design a configurable rule management system
• Implement decision-routing mechanisms based on wafer characteristics
• Capture engineering best practices into reusable rule definitions
• Support runtime selection of workflow paths

Work Experience

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years software engineering experience
• Strong C# and/or Java development experience
• Experience designing workflow engines, orchestration systems, or automation platforms
• Experience with rule-based systems and configuration-driven architectures
• Strong object-oriented design skills
• Experience with large-scale enterprise software systems
• Good to have Semiconductor domain experience.
• Should be ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
