TOS Support Analyst

🚢 We’re Hiring | TOS L3 Support Engineer – Navis N4 & XPS

📍 Preferred Location: Chennai

APM Terminals is looking for a TOS L3 Support Engineer to join our global team supporting mission-critical Terminal Operating Systems (Navis N4 & XPS) across terminals worldwide.

In this role, you’ll be part of the backbone that keeps our terminal operations stable, secure, and continuously improving—working closely with global teams, vendors, and local IT.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Provide L3 global support for Navis N4 and XPS platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents across application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers
• Perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes with proper documentation
• Manage Incidents, Changes, Requests, and Problems via ServiceNow, aligned with ITIL practices
• Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
• Contribute to TOS implementations, migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives
• Collaborate with L2 teams, local IT, and vendors for effective escalation and resolution
• Participate in standardization, monitoring, observability, and automation initiatives
• Analyze performance and monitoring data to proactively prevent issues

✅ What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Navis N4 and XPS (front-end & back-end)
• Solid understanding of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS)
• Knowledge of system administration fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ITSM / ITIL processes
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Oracle/SQL, log analysis, and distributed systems
• Monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus
• Integration technologies (Edge/CDH, Debezium, APIs, MQ)
• Scripting / automation skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
• Exposure to cybersecurity initiatives in operational IT
• Experience with containerized or cloud environments
• Background in terminal operations
