About the Role

The Territory Manager – Gold Loan will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and business growth for gold loan products within the Retail Banking division. Based in Mumbai, this role focuses on expanding the asset base, ensuring portfolio quality, and delivering exceptional customer service. The incumbent will collaborate with internal stakeholders to offer comprehensive lending solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquire gold loan customers from the identified segment and generate references within the designated catchment area.
  • Grow the Assets Under Management (AUM) for gold loan products while meeting revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
  • Collaborate with the Product Head – Business Loan to deliver best-in-class funding and multi-funding solutions, ensuring key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
  • Maintain a high-quality portfolio by minimizing delinquencies and rejections.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of retail asset products and operations.
  • Identify evolving market trends and develop channels for business acquisition.
  • Design and implement a fulfilling customer journey to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure adherence to internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the assigned territory.
  • Suggest policy and procedural enhancements to drive operational excellence and superior customer service.
  • Leverage internal synergies by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of years of proven experience in retail banking, preferably in gold loan or asset-based lending within BFSI industry.
  • Demonstrated success in customer acquisition, portfolio management, and team collaboration.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of retail asset products and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify market opportunities.
