Job Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Technology Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives that support our banking operations and digital transformation goals. The successful candidate will manage large-scale programs involving multiple technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs involving multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams
  • Develop comprehensive program roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation plans
  • Manage program budgets ranging from $5M-$50M+ with accountability for ROI and cost optimization
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple projects and technology platforms
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including steering committees and executive reporting

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to drive program success
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Present program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and board committees
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance throughout program lifecycle
  • Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to address regulatory requirements

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Ensure all technology initiatives comply with banking regulations (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • Implement robust risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate security reviews and penetration testing for new systems and processes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and regulatory examination purposes
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning for critical systems

Technology Leadership

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure technology alignment
  • Oversee integration of new systems with existing banking infrastructure
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security standards are met across all deliverables
  • Support technology vendor selection and contract negotiations

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of program management experience in financial services or technology
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs with budgets exceeding $10M

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of banking systems (core banking, payment processing, risk management)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps)
  • Understanding of data management, analytics, and reporting platforms
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and practices
