Job Description: Digital Technology Architect – MENA

We are seeking an experienced Digital Technology Architect to define and shape end-to-end technology solutions for complex business opportunities and client engagements. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical architectures, while supporting proposal development and solution responses. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience across application development, database design, user interface design, and programming, along with strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end digital technology solutions aligned with business goals, client requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead solution shaping and architecture definition for strategic opportunities, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Craft high-quality proposal responses, solution write-ups, technical estimations, and architecture narratives for client bids and pursuits.
• Work closely with business, delivery, engineering, and sales teams to convert requirements into compelling and practical solution approaches.
• Provide architecture leadership across application development, including service design, system integration, APIs, and modern development patterns.
• Define and review database designs, data models, and information flows to support application and business needs.
• Guide user interface and user experience considerations to ensure intuitive, scalable, and effective digital solutions.
• Apply strong programming and development knowledge to evaluate implementation approaches, engineering trade-offs, and delivery risks.
• Drive architecture best practices, reusable patterns, standards, and governance across the solution lifecycle.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one major cloud provider such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with delivery teams during implementation to ensure architectural integrity and successful execution.
• Support technology evaluations, proof of concepts, and innovation initiatives to strengthen solution quality and competitiveness.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 15–18 years of overall experience in technology architecture, software engineering, or related digital technology roles.
• Proven experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions across applications, data, and integration layers.
• Strong experience in solutioning and responding to proposals, RFPs, RFIs, or client pursuits.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform, with the ability to architect cloud-native or hybrid solutions.
• Significant hands-on exposure to application development, database design, user interfaces, and programming.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant cloud certifications in the chosen cloud platform.
• Experience in digital transformation, modernization, and enterprise solution architecture.
• Exposure to agile delivery, DevSecOps, API-led integration, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and participating in pre-sales or consulting discussions.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent are an advantage.
