As our new System Test Engineer, you will be designing, executing, and automating system-level tests for Grundfos products, verifying that integrated hardware and software solutions meet rigorous quality and performance standards before reaching the market. What you will be doing
As a key part of the System Test & Verification team, youll create impact by Driving product reliability and customer confidence by building robust test strategies that catch issues early and accelerate time-to-market for world-leading pump and water technology solutions..
Your main responsibilities include:
Develop and execute system-level test plans, test cases, and test procedures for new and existing products
Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test environments for hardware-software integrated systems
Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Define and track quality metrics, ensuring products meet functional, performance, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologies across the R&D organization
Participate in design and architecture reviews to ensure testability and early defect prevention
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineer with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in system-level testing of embedded or electromechanical products, and a drive to deliver quality at every stage of development. We would also imagine that you have:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in testing with pump systems or motor drives, IoT-connected products
Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, REST/HTTP, WebSockets)
Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) interfacing with connected devices
Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or similar)
Experience with structured test methodologies and defect tracking tools
It is a plus if you also:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows
Knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC, UL, or CE certification requirements
