Description
Kindle E-reader is a revolutionary reading device, the #1 best-selling product on all of Amazon, and one of the most innovative and fast growing businesses at Amazon. It is an iconic product and a thriving business adored by customers around the world – but it’s still “day one” in inspiring the world to read more and get more out of reading every day, across all their devices. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with the Product Management, Software Development Engineering, User Experience Design, and Customer Support groups to understand the product vision, requirements and customer usage models and develop appropriate release strategies. You will be executing the TPM team’s technical vision and roadmap, developing and tracking project schedules.
The role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with a high-energy team of software engineers, product managers, marketers, customer service leads as well as external partners (like Factory OEMs).
This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, thrives in a dynamic environment, understands the diverse perspectives of stakeholders to deliver complex programs, raises the bar on technical excellence, shows thought leadership, and communicates well to different audiences.
