In the Service Supply Chain, we are constantly optimizing operations to deliver on time to our customers while maintaining low inventory and an efficient setup. This is an ever-developing task in a fast-paced environment.
The Supply Chain Coordination function is responsible for order management, internal customer support, issue resolution, and acting as the primary point of contact for Supply Chain Management to the SBU. The Supply Chain Coordinator must ensure the Service Supply Chain meets its delivery targets and provides crucial analysis and customer feedback to Procurement, Forecasting, and Warehousing to align with customer needs.
Responsibilties
- Manage all Construction Project Site interactions related to material supply within the LATAM region
- Prioritize and expedite critical material orders to prevent construction delays
- Collaborate with Construction Site Managers and Project Management to resolve material availability issues impacting construction schedules
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of Purchase orders and delivery schedules to the warehouse, aligning with construction timelines
- Evaluate and process material return requests from construction sites, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines
- Oversee the receipt and processing of direct ship for construction materials and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely delivery to sites
- Collaborate with Global SIOP, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve any supply chain bottlenecks or shortages impacting construction projects
- Provide proactive supply chain support to construction sites, tracking order statuses, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Independently identify and expedite urgent material requirements to minimize construction delays
- Process construction Purchase Requisitions (PRs) related to Spares & consumables on time
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to construction supply chain support, including on-time material delivery, order fulfillment accuracy, and response times to site requests
Qualifications
- BE or B. Tech or MBA in Supply Chain
- 3 - 8 years of experience in a global international supply chain function within customer service, order Mgmt./Fulfillment and /or spare parts /service environment
- Hands-on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reporting
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in SAP MM ERP is must
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Competencies
- Strong Excel & Power BI skills
- Knowledge in SAP MM ERP system
- Cross-cultural understanding is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Working style is well structured, proactive, flexible, and persistent
- Ability to communicate complex supply chain information in a simple and transparent manner
- Good system and business understanding
- Should be Willing to work in night Shifts (CET)
