Team Overview

• Accountable for the budget, performance and results of medium-sized solutions capability engineering team and also scale that using TU global operating model.
• Manages experienced professionals who exercise moderate latitude and independence in their assignments globally.
• Provides direction and guidance to senior management on the execution of services, products, process, standards or operational plans in support of the organization's technology strategies.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze client/partner needs to determine technical requirements.
• Clearly communicate the status of technology projects to executive team.

• Clearly communicate the status of technology projects to executive team. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
  
  

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Minimum of 10 years of broad engineering experience, ideally 4+ years in a management role, with demonstrated experience as a strategic leader
• Deep understanding of core software engineering principals Proven experience planning, implementing, and managing software engineering functions
• Confident in abilities to coach and mentor team members and future leaders Experience with recommending and evaluating effectiveness of training within engineering teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
• Build distributed systems (full stack – front end, back end and operational activities) – work on improving and adding new functionality to solutions capability distributed systems backbone
• Develop software with robust coding to power major components of large, mission critical, real-time distributed applications
• Design and implement features evolving our online advertising and data management product offerings
• Experience in driving ownership of end to end software products out of India
• Experience of leading cloud migrations
  
  

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• Lead, develop, and motivate high-performing software development teams of geographically distributed software engineering associates and set clear priorities to achieve key results and organizational objectives that lead to predictive outcomes and consistently achieving high-levels of service availability and reliability
• Be responsible for growing and developing our software engineering team through hiring, training, coaching and mentoring
• Develop the strategy and implement the plans for automated software testing and deployment
