Roles And Responsibilites

Job objectives / Area of responsibility

Create and manage Feature Templates, reusable modeling components and libraries to improve efficiency and quality in product design.

Define and promote best practices for parametric, associative and feature-based modeling in Siemens NX.

Drive digitalization and automation of design processes through knowledge-based engineering and NX Feature Templates.

Collaborate with global engineering and design teams to implement and harmonize standards.

Create and manage Siemens Teamcenter Configurators to support product development

Work independently and proactively, think beyond routine tasks and contribute innovative ideas that challenge conventional approaches and improve overall design efficiency.

Education And Professional Knowledge

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related technical field.

Extensive experience in CAD design, preferably in industrial, automotive or mechanical product development.

Proven expertise in Siemens NX (advanced modeling, re-use libraries, feature templates).

Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, especially in configuration and variant management (Teamcenter Configurator).

Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing according to ISO GPS.

In-depth knowledge of design methodologies, drafting principles, and product lifecycle management.

Experience in standardization and knowledge-based engineering and design automation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured working style.

Experience working in international, cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills in English with ability to collaborate across regions and disciplines.
