Job Description

Role Purpose: Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure and plays a key role in troubleshooting complex issues, executing network projects, and driving operational excellence. This role focuses on ensuring network reliability, performance, and security while supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manages day-to-day network operations, including monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.

· Performs structured troubleshooting, problem management, RCA, performance optimization and escalations handling.

· Assists in design and implementation of scalable and secure network solutions.

· Supports network upgrades, migrations, patching, software upgrades, capacity management and resilience improvements.

· Implements network security controls, ACLs, firewall policies, zero trust segmentation and access governance.

· Ensures end-to-end network observability, monitoring integration and proactive detection of performance degradation.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date network change documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures to support knowledge management and team continuity.

· Guide junior engineers in the routine tasks and support escalations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

· Network availability and performance SLA adherence

· MTTR & incident resolution effectiveness

· Network change success rate

· Network optimization gain metrics (latency, throughput, packet loss reduction)

· Control / policy compliance and standardization adoption

· Reduction in repeat network incidents
