Job Summary

• Serve as gatekeeper of production, ensuring only quality, tested, and approved changes reach production environments
• Ensure production meets quality standards, maintaining high standards of system reliability, performance, and security
• Support maintenance of application BAU activities such as resilience, risk management, disaster recovery, batch management, incident management, problem management, change management
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on technical execution and operational support. No people management or formal leadership responsibilities.
• Production System Stability - Maintain assigned systems with minimal downtime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
• Quality Deployment Execution - Execute error-free production deployments following established procedures and quality gates
• Operational Excellence - Deliver consistent, reliable day-to-day production support within defined SLAs
• Drives proactive prevention through continuous monitoring, automation, and systematic improvement to eliminate incidents before they impact business operations
  
  

Skills And Experience

Must-have Skills

• Atleast 3+ Years of experience in Mainframe development or support
• COBOL, CICS, Easitrieve, JCL, VSAM
• Linux, Scripting, Python, Java, API

Qualifications

Key Experiences

• Experience in mainframe application development, engineering or support on both online CICS and batch processing. Experience in Linux, Java & API will be added advantages.
  
  

Certifications / Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering & related fields
