Job Title: Specialist – IT Asset management

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Tracking & Inventory: Accurately track IT physical and digital assets, updating tracking software and databases. Process equipment tags and reconcile discrepancies.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of assets from procurement to disposal. Identify and eliminate lost, depreciated, or retired assets from records.
• Financial & Budget Analysis: Support the development of capital and operating budgets, and forecast expenses for asset maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Collaborate with suppliers and third-party vendors to obtain cost-effective contracts and services.
• Compliance & Audits: Conduct regular audits to verify asset locations, assess risks, and ensure adherence to financial regulations and organizational standards.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed management reports summarizing asset performance, inventory recovery, and budget utilization.
  
  
  

• Education: Any bachelor’s degree in business administration or science or a relevant experience.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience in asset management, inventory control, or a related financial/operational role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in asset management systems (e.g., CMMS), ERP systems (e.g., Service Now Asset Management), and advanced MS Excel.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and clear communication for cross-departmental collaboration.
