About The Software Engineer Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our New Products – GenAI team.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly on 0-to-1 GenAI products that will shape how organizations create learning content, deliver AI-powered practice experiences, and scale L&D workflows. You’ll work closely with product, design, and AI-native builders to ship high-impact features quickly, experiment with emerging GenAI capabilities, and turn ambiguous product ideas into reliable, production-ready software.

You will work under the New Products charter, contributing to AI-powered experiences across content authoring, interactive learning, simulations, practice journeys, automation workflows, and internal tooling. From week one, you’ll be expected to build, ship, learn, and iterate.

From week one, youll be building, shipping, and iterating — with full access to the latest AI stack and a team thats already AI-native.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality features for GenAI-powered learning and content creation products
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to convert product ideas into scalable technical solutions
• Integrate with LLMs, AI APIs, agents, prompt workflows, vector search, and related AI tooling where required
• Develop backend services, APIs, frontend experiences, and internal tools that support rapid experimentation
• Participate in 0-to-1 product discovery and help validate ideas through quick prototypes and MVPs
• Own features end-to-end — from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Collaborate on prompt-engineering workflows, content-generation pipelines, review flows, and AI quality improvements
• Build systems that are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable
• Work with usage data, product feedback, and error patterns to improve product experience and system performance
• Stay hands-on with the latest AI developer tools and use them to improve engineering velocity
  
  

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or product-led engineering teams
• Strong hands-on coding ability in one or more modern stacks such as React, .NET, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, or similar
• Experience building APIs, backend services, web applications, or scalable product features
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and building from scratch rather than waiting for fully-defined specs
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to debug across product, engineering, and AI behavior
• Exposure to GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, OpenAI APIs, Google AI Studio, LangChain/LlamaIndex, vector databases, or agent frameworks is a strong plus
• Ability to build quick prototypes as well as production-grade systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, queues, observability, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
• Product mindset — you care about user outcomes, not just code completion
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with PMs, designers, QA, and other engineers
• AI-native working style — you already use AI tools to code, test, debug, document, and accelerate your work

• Experience with LLM-based applications, RAG systems, AI agents, prompt orchestration, or evaluation frameworks
• Experience with content generation, workflow automation, simulations, assessments, or learning products
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jira, Figma, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Replit, Vercel, LangSmith, or similar
• Experience working in agile squads or cross-functional product teams
• Understanding of security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations in enterprise SaaS
