Software Engineer- (Java, Angular) - Chennai

The Delivery Management function within NIQ. The Delivery Management provide all dimension instructions required to build an datasets and manage access rights for users to datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with both internal and external systems
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, including schema design, query development, and performance tuning
• Utilize NoSQL technologies like MongoDB for scalable data handling
• Implement strong logging, error management, and monitoring solutions
• Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production and development issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and deliver dependable resolutions
• Use GitHub for source control, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows
• Contribute to enhanced developer productivity with tools like GitHub Copilot
  
  

• Hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong proficiency in Java 8, Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Expertise in writing unit and integration tests using Java and Spring
• Practical development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular
• Solid understanding of SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries
• Strong working knowledge of NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
• Ability to produce clean, structured, and maintainable code
• Proven success working in an Agile/SCRUM enterprise environment
• Understanding of UX design principles
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes
• Good awareness of CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions
• Prior exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
