Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and enhancing ServiceNow SecOps and VR capabilities while ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient vulnerability management solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions.
  • Build workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Develop custom applications and enhancements within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Configure vulnerability groups, remediation workflows, assignment rules, and risk scoring models.

Vulnerability Response Implementation

  • Implement and support ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Security Operations modules.
  • Configure scanner integrations with Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, and other security tools.
  • Develop automated remediation and vulnerability tracking workflows.
  • Design and optimize vulnerability management lifecycle processes.

Integration & Automation

  • Develop REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with CMDB, security tools, asset management systems, and ticketing platforms.
  • Build and maintain MID Server integrations.
  • Automate security operations processes using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Platform Engineering

  • Perform code reviews and platform optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and platform maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop dashboards and executive reporting for vulnerability management programs.
  • Create metrics and KPIs to measure remediation effectiveness and SLA compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
  • Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise.
  • Experience building complex ServiceNow integrations.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and vulnerability management concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response.
  • Security Operations (SecOps) experience.
  • Experience with cloud security tools and modern vulnerability scanning platforms.
