JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Location:                                              Chennai /Coimbatore

Experience:                                        8 to 12 Years

Industry:                                              Machine tool

Educational Qualification:             Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Employment Type:                          Permanent

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of HBM, VTC, HMC, and SPM machines.
• Ability to work in Siemens and Fanuc controls.
• Understanding and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies, pneumatics, and hydraulic circuits.
• Basic knowledge of I/O signal troubleshooting, electrical circuits, and PLCs.
• Experience in handling machine preventive maintenance (PM) and health check-ups.
• Basic Knowledge of machine retrofitting and refurbishment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out service activities and site project erection/commissioning.
• Handle refurbishment and retrofit activities.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Onsite diagnostics and attend service calls.
• Be available to travel within India and abroad.
• Identify opportunities for spare parts sales.
• Ensure compliance with Fives safety standards.
