Senior UX UI Designer

What is the job about?

As a UX & UI Designer, your role will be to design user interfaces for mobile applications that are easy to use for installers and homeowners. You will become the expert in our users’ behaviours and have a deep understanding of how they interact with our products and what their pains are. You will create the design in collaboration with our global UI platform team, who is responsible for ensuring a cohesion between all designs across Grundfos digital solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Extract user research, insights, and good design practice to create our connected product features for the future.
• Sketch solutions, build rapid prototypes, test your ideas, and refine your designs with data and user feedback during the design process.
• Deliver innovative app experiences through the latest technologies and within our digital ecosystem of tools and offerings.
• Help evolve and reimagine the pre-existing digital solutions and connected platforms.
• Work alongside our visual designers and developers to ensure that the UI design direction is in line with the proposed connected product experience.
• Reuse design components from the UI platform and define requirements for new design components.
  
  

Your Background:

• Experience with industry standard design & business tools such as; Sketch, Framer, Adobe CC, Flinto, Figma, to name a few.
• Excited about immersing themselves into new topics, able to work with a lot of information to connect the dots and form hypotheses.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate our design direction and best practices in a clear, compelling way to sky design stakeholders across the business.
• Can work independently, prioritize tasks and work effectively on 1-2 projects simultaneously, with support from Product Owner and team.
• Experience designing for mobile apps, with up-to-date knowledge of UX/ Interaction Design patterns for iOS and Android.
• Also experience working across digital channels, including fixed-web and tablet too.
• Interest in design thinking, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and information design
• Skills in journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, rapid prototyping and visual design skills.
