We are looking for: Senior Software Engineer

You’ll make an impact by:

• Demonstrated language competency in more than one programming language or discipline (frontend, backend, infrastructure, ...).
• Performed work that was evaluated to be done "high quality" by peers.
• Demonstrated the ability to collaborate well.
• Succeeded as an engineer when presented with projects of increasing complexity over time across multiple areas of the code.
• Demonstrated ability to unblock other teammates.
• Earned a high level of trust among other team members to own a task, distribute individual work packages and provide supervision to peers.
• A reputation of submitting maintainable code that is well tested for review and QA.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate how contributions can affect larger architecture.
• A high level of understanding about how the work fits into the bigger picture of the application.
• A high level of craftsmanship about their work, and the end experience of the user, and impact on the overall product.
• Demonstrated good communication skills with technical and non-technical teammates.
• Demonstrated competency in testing and test automation topics (test case design, mocking & stubbing, test case implementation, test-driven development).

• BE / B.Tech any relevant degree.
• 4-8 Years experience.
• Be familiar with multiple areas of the code and overall product
• Be able to dive any area of code that they are not familiar with, make changes and guide others in how to do this.
• Show curiosity in learning new things and fully understand how they work
• have a reputation for getting things done efficiently (quickly in high quality)
• Being a mentor for other engineers.
• Deconstruct a problem into an executable action plan for themselves and other engineers
• discuss this action plan with other people as needed in a proper degree of abstraction
• Set and maintain high individual and team expectations
• Actively participate in code, design, and architecture reviews
• Define data structures which are exposed to other teams
• Define interfaces and interactions that are provided by the modules of the team and used by other teams
• Discuss solutions to problems spanning multiple teams and components of the application with other software engineers, the application architect, and the product owner
• Actively support and educate other engineers by providing knowledge sharing about domain related topics (such as new requirements and feedback) as well as technical topics (such as code optimizations for clean code)
• Work across different roles (dev, qa) to ensure new code launches smoothly and customer needs are met
• Ensuring stability of the application components the team owns
• Ensuring fast and frequent delivery of the application components the team owns
• Be a partner to product manager, designer, fellow tech leads, and architects to understand product suggestions and challenge ideas based on technical and domain expertise
• Actively collect and propose ideas for refactoring and reduction of technical debt.
