Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Create efficient data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Azure, Data Warehouse, APIs, and flat files.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and visualizations.
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and data governance standards.
• Monitor report performance and optimize datasets and queries.
• Support production deployments, enhancements, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language)
• Strong SQL and database querying skills
• Experience with Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL) preferred
• Experience with ETL/Data Warehousing concepts
• Report performance tuning and optimization
• Power BI Gateway and Scheduled Refresh configuration
• Version control and deployment best practices
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Python or R for analytics
• Azure DevOps
• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Exposure to Risk Analytics and Regulatory Reporting in Banking
