Description

  • Real-time detection, analysis, and mitigation of DDoS attacks across customer environments.
  • Provide real-time support and incident response for customers experiencing web application and security-related attacks.
  • Perform post-incident Root Cause Analysis and deliver attack reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security-related issues during both attack and non attack (peacetime) periods.
  • Act as a security consultant for existing and new customers, providing guidance on security best practices, configurations, and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to improve overall security posture and ensure effective protection against evolving threats

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNA are preferred.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, IPv4, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and routing protocols such as BGP.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and hands-on experience with packet and network analysis tools (Example, Wireshark).
  • Excellent customer service and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including customer interactions, technical documentation, and incident reporting.
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, including REST and GraphQL architectures, along with familiarity with the OWASP API Security Top 10.
  • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, curl, and browser developer tools.
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts, LLMs, and common AI security risks.
  • Familiarity with web application security concepts, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of DDoS mitigation, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), CDN technologies and cloud security concepts is highly desirable.
