Senior Quality Engineer

Job Overview

Capgemini is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bi-lingual Functional Tester (Spanish) to join our Quality Engineering and Testing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional testing expertise, excellent analytical skills, and fluency in both Spanish and English. This role requires close collaboration with global stakeholders, business teams, and development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across multilingual environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Perform bilingual validation of application content, workflows, and user interfaces in Spanish and English.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage meetings.
• Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with multiple testing teams and stakeholders across geographies to support successful project delivery.
  
  

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• 2+ years of experience in Functional Testing, preferably in bilingual or multilingual project environments.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in creating and executing manual test cases.Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA and ALM/HP Quality Center.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  
  

• Experience in multilingual content validation and localization testing.
• Exposure to UAT support and end-to-end business process validation.
• Knowledge of test estimation, test planning, and reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP, CRM, Web, Mobile, or Enterprise applications is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts is a plus.
