Wind River Systems is seeking an Engineer – Certification Center of Excellence our Professional Services Safety Certification team in Bangalore, India. This high-performing engineer will be a critical member of a co-located team generating software and evidence for safety critical systems. You will interact with our highly skilled global teams in North America or Europe on a regular basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to lead our infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and DevOps initiatives. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining both cloud-based and physical systems that support our development and testing activities while producing high-quality artifacts that deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across cloud providers (primarily AWS) and physical environments
  • Develop and enhance GitLab or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu
  • Implement automation solutions to streamline development workflows
  • Ensure security best practices across all infrastructure components
  • Support development teams with infrastructure needs and performance optimization
  • Develop infrastructure documentation and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, and CI/CD implementation
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Go
  • Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency with AWS services and architecture patterns
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and network security principles
  • Experience implementing security hardening for public-facing infrastructure
  • Ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing physical testing/development infrastructure
  • Experience implementing AI-assisted workflows for CI/CD optimization
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
