Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team and develop scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. The role involves designing and developing Java-based solutions, building RESTful APIs, working with SQL/NoSQL databases, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience with Spring Framework, cloud platforms, microservices, and DevOps tools is highly preferred. This is a hybrid work-from-office job in Chennai.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
• Monitoring and optimizing application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues and bottlenecks
• Maintaining code quality, code reviews, automation, and development best practices
• Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and working with geographically distributed teams
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, designing and maintaining scalable enterprise applications
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and object-oriented programming principles
• Hands-on experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficiency in database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases, with strong data modeling and optimization skills
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and modern microservices-based architectures
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments, including technical design, estimation, development, deployment, and production support
• Fluent English communication skills (minimum B2 level)
