Senior Engineer - Tractor Engines

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

- Work in the cooling system team for tractor application.
- Atending cross functional team & demonstrating the cooling system activities. 
- Smart handling of problem solving techiniqques.
- Customer to solve cooling system issues.
- Supplier visits and getting on the critical parts development activities & New technology development along with suppliers. 
- Make different Conceptual options to finalise 3D layout
- Heat load calculations, Preparation of SOR.  
- Packaging & integrating Engine interface systems into a vehicle
- Detailed design of Engine interface systems (3D modeling and drawing preparation) like Radiator, Charge air Cooler, Fuel Cooler, Air cleaner, Muffler, Hoses, surge tank & Mountings to meet Delivery targets.
-Should have exposure on manufacturing process like rubber and plastic moulding and sheet metal fabrication.
- Should have worked in New Product Development Projects
- Good Knowledge in GD & T, Tolerance stack up
- Co-ordinations and discussion with other COEs

Experience

6 to 10 Years

Industry Preferred

Tractor/Automotive Industry

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech - Mechanical / Automotive

General Requirements

• Should have good hands-on experience on CAD softwares like Unigraphics, Creo etc.
• Exposure to Team Centre- Enterprise, TC- Engineering and TC -Project 
• Ability to converse clearly in English 
• Quick learner
• Should have good analytical skill while analyzing technical data / information
• Good knowledge of MPDS & Ms-Office utilities like: Word, Power point, Excel

Functional Competencies:

• CAD knowledge (Unigraphics, Creo & Team center PLM)
• Vehicle component & system level design (Cooling systems)
• GD&T, material selection and manufacturing methods
• DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS,
• QFD & 6-Sigma Practices
