Senior Engineer - Production

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join the Production Team within Our Foil Division on a full-time basis.

Major Responsibilities :

•       Supervise daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
•       Plan weekly scheduled order items for Production based on Monthly Schedule and ensure it gets delivered on time. 
•       Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards.
•       Conduct daily work management and identify focus areas to be deployed to meet the plan in terms of Delivery, Quality and get support from other functions.
•       To control cost of production tools and consumables.
•        Maintain good 5S on the shop floor. To manage operatives and ensure safety, morale in workplace.
•       Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
•       Ensure availability of materials, tools, machines, and manpower for uninterrupted production.
•       Track production output, downtime, scrap, and efficiency, and take corrective actions when necessary.
•       Identify training needs and develop operators skills and competencies.

Technical Competencies:

•        Knowledge on SMT, Soldering
•        foil resistor manufacturing processes, including photoetching, bonding, trimming, encapsulation, molding, and final assembly.
•        Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), work instructions, and process documents.
•        ESD controls, product traceability requirements

Good to have Competencies:

•       Knowledge in AS-9001
•        Exposure to handle unionized workforce.
•        Soldering / Welding / Oven curing process.
• ERP/MRP System Knowledge

Essential Competencies:

•        Production Operations Management
•        Knowledge on lean, kaizen implementation.
•        Production Planning Coordination
•        Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis.
• AS-9001 Aero space Quality Systems Awareness

Requirements

Academic/Professional Education: DME / BE Mechanical - Electrical

Relevant Experience: Min. 8 Yrs BE / 12 Yrs Dip with production dept in Manufacturing Industries
