Job Overview

Quality Engineer with experience in industrial automation and manufacturing, skilled in inspection, metrology, and quality control. Focused on maintaining quality standards, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.

A Day In The Life

  • Perform daily inspections based on requests from in-house teams, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Possess strong inspection expertise in castings, sheet metal components, jigs & fixtures, and SPMs.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of CMM, 3D scanning, calibration processes, and standard metrology lab activities.
  • Manage non-conformance (NC) processes, including reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (CFT), including Sourcing, Production, and Quality, to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Exhibit strong capability in reverse engineering, with hands-on experience in tools such as Geomagic or PolyWorks.
  • Handle store-related activities such as GRN creation, monthly inventory management, and stock ledger reporting.
  • Be a proactive team player, maintaining strong coordination with team leads and members.
  • Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in both design and manufacturing drawings.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, behavioral, and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required)

6 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (required) 

Ability to perform Capability and Measurement Systems Analysis

Proven skills in problem solving and product investigation

Experience writing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, visual aids, etc. 

Experience working within an ISO 9001-2015 registered, or equivalently certified QMS (required)
