Senior Design Engineer 1 Year Contract

The Impact Youll Make

You’ll play a key role by owning and maintaining the engineering documentation within our PL40 Product Family team (Industrial Refrigeration).

Your mission is to lead and manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process ensuring that our products deliver consistent quality, performance, and long-term reliability.

You’ll collaborate with a global, cross-functional team to continuously improve existing designs, implement new solutions, and support the development of energy-efficient, sustainable refrigeration technologies that make a real impact in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design: Lead the design and development of current products portfolio (design changes, improvements in current products, quality improvements etc.)
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing Technology, Quality, Product Experts, and Product Owners to ensure alignment between engineering activities and business targets.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of products within the PL40 family, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing and quality control measures to ensure products meet Danfoss standards and customer expectations.
• Sustainability Focus: Integrate sustainable practices into product design and lifecycle management, supporting Danfosss commitment to environmental responsibility.
  
  

What Were Looking For

• Experience with 3D CAD software (preferably Inventor) to maintain documentation and create new models and drawings.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience in mechanical engineering and an open-minded, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude.
