We are part of the Renewables department, consisting of 100+ enthusiastic colleagues working from India, Denmark, Germany, Norway, South Korea, and Taiwan, while collaborating closely with colleagues in the United Kingdom and North America. We have a proven history of making wind energy solutions possible even under the most complex conditions – deep waters, challenging soil conditions, and regions with high seismic activity and typhoons/hurricanes. For offshore wind, we design both floating and bottom-fixed structures. We are looking for a BIM Specialist (Tekla) to join our team. In this role, your primary duties will be:

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring compliance with project requirements and client BIM standards.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks effectively for both self and junior team members, providing regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models in Tekla Structures for offshore wind turbine generator (WTG) foundation structures, including monopiles, jackets, transition pieces, boat landings, internal platforms, work platforms, and associated steel structures.
• Contribute to the development of 3D models, detailed connection drawings, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
• Perform clash detection, model coordination, and interdisciplinary reviews using Navisworks, BIM Track, and other coordination platforms, integrating models developed in Tekla, Inventor, Revit, and other software applications.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables are produced in accordance with agreed project requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of BIM models, drawings, and digital deliverables in compliance with project specifications and organizational quality management systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams across local and global offices to support efficient project execution and successful delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by promoting BIM best practices, model quality, and workflow optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

 Moreover, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical with 8 to 12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, with demonstrated experience in successful project delivery.
• Proven experience in developing, managing, and delivering Offshore BIM projects.
• Strong interest in contributing to multidisciplinary projects involving steel offshore wind structures.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination, model federation, and clash detection/management using Navisworks or similar platforms.

• Good understanding of BIM standards, information management processes, and interoperability between BIM applications. Experience with ISO 19650 will be considered an advantage.

• Experience with parametric modelling and automation tools will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working on Offshore topsides structures is an added advantage.
  
  

Some good to have skills:

• Experience in Tekla Reinforcement Modelling.
• Working knowledge of AVEVA E3D and Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C#, Python, and C++.
