Senior BI ETL Test Engineer

Job Description

As a BI ETL Test Engineer, you take care of the testing of BI systems. This includes validation of the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and you are able to analyze defects during data validation. This includes setting up testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility and risk assessments.

Job Description - Grade Specific

As a BI ETL Test Specialist, you are expected to be subject matter expert in this area of specialised testing. This includes understanding the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and are able to analyze defects during data validation. You have a good technical knowledge on Databases, UnixorLinux and ETL and BI Tools. You are expected to develop testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility, conduct risk assessments and build business cases ROI. You are expected to own delivery of specialised testing projects. You are expected to work independently to provide technical support and guidance.
