Duties of Position: (Include specific duties and responsibilities)

• Technically lead tester projects directly from the customer front end.
• Independently derive the projects towards successful completion as per the schedule.
• Prepare comprehensive tester proposals.
• Execute projects from concept design, detailed design, integration, and verification through to the deployment phase.
• Provide essential technical inputs for the tester concept design.
• Select appropriate test instruments in line with specified test requirements.
• Design and develop PCBA level, module level, and system level functional testers.
• Apply strong knowledge in schematics study and understand the functionality of different circuit blocks.
• Design and develop Test Software Architecture and Code modules.
• Perform hands-on signal level and system level troubleshooting of tester (for both hardware and software)
• Utilize knowledge of basic mechanical concepts involved in test fixture designs.
• Design Bed of Nail type fixtures and select appropriate test probes.
• Apply solid knowledge of various communication protocols.
• Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders.
  
  

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the design and development of Functional testers.
• Capability to thoroughly comprehend requirements and propose appropriate test methodology and solutions.
• Technical expertise in handling various test instruments like programmable power supply, electronic load, PXI, DAQ modules, IO cards, Oscilloscopes, PLC modules and Relay cards.
• Experienced in the design and development of RF, High Power, and Vision-based test solutions will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in operating various test equipment from KeySight, National Instruments, Keithley, B&K, PICO, etc.
• Highly skillful in the selection of sensors and signal conditioning modules.
• Ability to collaboratively work with the mechanical team for tester concept design, including finalizing tester dimensions, interface methods (BON or Manual), component layout and interface, DUT loading, POKA-YOKE solutions, and safety measures.
• Should possess good knowledge in preparing high-level block diagrams and low-level tester wiring schemas.
• Highly experienced in the design and development of test software using NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand and Python.
• Knowledge in the SCADA/Ladder programming will be an added advantage.
• Experienced in the design of test software architecture based on project needs.
• Experienced in developing LabVIEW applications using LabVIEW OOPS and Actor Framework.
• Experienced in working with different communication protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, USB, CAN, GPIB, and ModBus.
• Candidates should have good knowledge of project management methods and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and have a proven ability to organize, analyze, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly flexible, adaptable, self-disciplined, self-motivated, highly productive, and work effectively with the team.
