About The Role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the design, development, release, and lifecycle support of COCOE components, including Film GP, Paint GP, Label GP, Shipping Covers, Plug GP, Cover GP, EAC-related components, and associated engineering documentation. The role supports NPI, CPI, and current product initiatives while driving quality, cost, manufacturability, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and release COCOE component designs using Creo and Teamcenter.
- Support NPI, CPI, NSI, and current product engineering activities.
- Execute design reviews, engineering changes, and PMO milestones.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, procurement, and validation teams.
- Resolve field, factory, and supplier issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement, localization, cost reduction, and first time right releases.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in product design and development.
- Proficiency in Creo, Teamcenter, and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Ansys, FMEA, and NPI execution.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.
