Senior Analyst, Participation Servicing

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to manage the end-to-end servicing of a portfolio of participation facilities, ensuring accurate transaction processing and adherence to established operational controls. The role is responsible for handling complex servicing events, investigating and resolving escalations, providing guidance on non-routine activities, and contributing to the enhancement of the control environment and overall service delivery.

Roles and responsibilities

• Own servicing for assigned portfolios, including complex events such as benchmark transition, multi-currency facilities, PIK interest and restructurings


• Interpret credit agreements for servicing terms and validate facility set-up in Loan IQ


• Resolve escalated exceptions, perform root cause analysis and drive remediation


• Review and sign off interest accrual, cash and GL reconciliations


• Operate within the control framework (3 Lines of Defense, KRIs, SOX-style controls) and support internal audit, external audit and SNC examinations


• Coach analysts, review output quality and maintain SOPs


• Liaise with the bank's middle office, treasury, finance and agent banks

Experience and qualification

• 4 to 7 years of experience in syndicated loan servicing, with strong Loan IQ expertise


• Demonstrated experience handling complex servicing events and reconciliations


• Strong knowledge of credit agreements, LMA and LSTA documentation, and regulatory reporting touchpoints


• Degree in finance, commerce or a related field; MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent preferred
