SAP VIM Consultant Functional Transformation

Enterprise Performance

Our Enterprise Performance team helps clients unlock value from enterprise platforms and digital technologies across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations. As an SAP VIM Functional Consultant, you will support clients in improving invoice management, document processing, and accounts payable operations through technology-enabled transformation.

In this role, you will work with business and technology teams to translate requirements into SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions, support workflow and process optimization, and contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives. You will bring functional knowledge, configuration experience, and a delivery-focused approach to help clients improve operational efficiency and achieve sustainable business outcomes.

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:

• Support implementation, enhancement, and production support activities for SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management and Business Capture Center solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot invoice processing capabilities, including ArchiveLink, document pipeline, document types, approval workflows, roles, and central reporting.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and support testing, defect analysis, and deployment activities across business applications and environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve data, process, and application issues and support timely project delivery.
• Contribute to documentation, user training, and knowledge sharing while supporting junior team members and project-level delivery activities.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Shift Timings: 24*7 including night shifts, as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-6 years of experience in SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Business Capture Center (BCC)
• Experience supporting 2-3 projects involving OpenText Vendor Invoice Management components
• Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management 7.5 or 16.3, OpenText Business Center, and Business Capture Center
• Experience configuring ArchiveLink, document pipeline, Intermediate Document (IDoc) interfaces, document types, invoice workflow approvals, roles, and central reports
• Experience with SAP Accounts Payable processes, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), indexing screens, charts of authority, and process options
• Experience troubleshooting Intelligent Capture Center (ICC), Business Capture Center, and standard OpenText Vendor Invoice Management Fiori applications
• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited university
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management installation, enterprise scan, archiving, or capture configuration
• Experience developing functional specifications, configuration documentation, and project documentation
• Experience supporting user testing, training, and deployment activities
• Experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
• Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM)
