Global Delivery Services refers to EYs worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager in SAP S/4HANA Service management and Customer Service, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimising service management processes across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the configuration, deployment, and continuous improvement of SAP Service modules, ensuring alignment between technology and business goals to foster organisational growth. This role is best suited for accomplished professionals with over 13 years of experience who excel at guiding high-impact projects, influencing decision-making at the executive level, and fostering collaboration within cross-functional leadership teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Customer Service module, leveraging core SAP S/4HANA functionalities to enhance organisational efficiency and drive long-term growth.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive functional specifications for critical business projects, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Evaluate and optimise business processes to support successful project delivery and facilitate effective knowledge transfer across the organisation.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service and Customer Service modules.
- Comprehensive understanding of service-oriented business processes including in-house repair, field service repair, workshop repair, service contract-based repair, and execution order procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of service quotations, service contracts, service orders, service order confirmation, maintenance service orders, and recurring services.
- Demonstrated experience as a Lead in at least one SAP S/4HANA Service implementation project.
- Strong proficiency in cross-topic integration with FICO, SD, MM, PM, CATS, and related modules.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to service management systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage and engage business stakeholders with professionalism.
- Deep configuration expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service.
- Experience in mapping and documenting business processes to facilitate strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Strategic insight into integration with Customer Service processes, including repair sales and warranty management, to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Basic proficiency in ABAP, including experience with function modules and ABAP debugging, supporting effective technical management.
- Proficient in engaging stakeholders for requirements gathering and preparing unit test case documentation, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
- Relevant industry domain experience is crucial for providing strategic direction and contextual leadership.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, essential for influencing stakeholders and presenting at the executive level.
- Experience managing global projects, bringing an international perspective and strategic vision to the role.
- Ability to lead and facilitate both functional and technical discussions, driving consensus and strategic outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to operate independently and provide leadership with minimal supervision.
- Ability to oversee and direct engagements across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of strategic objectives.
- Experienced in partnering closely with Solution and Project Teams to ensure seamless transition and implementation of new solutions, contributing to both local and global development initiatives.
- Collaborative team leader with a creative problem-solving approach, fostering innovation within cross-functional teams.
- Exhibits strong initiative and creativity in managing work assignments, driving continuous improvement and strategic growth.
