Promote high-quality SAP ABAP development

In this role, you will manage ABAP development activities for our SAP S/4HANA system, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that support global business processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide technical standards, and contribute to our transformation journey.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Lead ABAP development aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards and Clean Core principles
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Design and maintain custom programs, reports, and interfaces
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices
• Support migration, integration, and upgrade activities
  
  

You will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Core in Group IT and work closely with global teams across Europe. The role is based in Chennai (G3C) and may involve occasional international travel.

Experienced SAP ABAP Lead Engineer/Developer With Global Mindset

We’re looking for a structured problem solver who thrives in a collaborative setting. You’re a person who manages responsibilities, communicates clearly, and inspires others through mentorship and technical leadership. You enjoy balancing practical development with strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.

You also have:

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience.
• Bachelor’s /Masters in engineering and related streams.
• You have worked in one or more SAP support/ Implementation projects .
• Advanced knowledge of ECC and S/4HANA custom development and integration.
• Extensive knowledge of interface technologies (IDoc, OData, Web Services).
• Experience mentoring teams and enforcing coding standards.
• Exposure to SAP C4C or eCommerce integration.
