SAP ISU Senior Consultant Functional

Enterprise Performance

Our Enterprise Performance team helps organizations unlock value from enterprise platforms and digital technologies across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations. As an SAP IS-U Functional Senior Consultant, you will work with utility clients to design, configure, and optimize SAP solutions that support core business processes across customer, billing, device, and revenue operations.

In this role, you will bring functional knowledge of SAP for Utilities to help clients improve process efficiency, support large-scale transformation, and deliver sustainable business outcomes. Working with cross-functional teams, you will help translate business requirements into practical SAP IS-U solutions that enable operational improvement and long-term value.

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Sr Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:

• Lead SAP IS-U functional activities across implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
• Conduct blueprint, As-Is, and To-Be workshops and translate business requirements into SAP IS-U functional designs and configuration decisions.
• Configure and support SAP Utilities processes in one or more areas such as rates and billing, device management, contract accounting, energy data management, or CRM for Utilities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and defect-resolution support materials to enable quality delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and global delivery teams to support testing, issue resolution, deployment, and mentoring of junior team members.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Shift Timings: 24*7 rotational shifts including night shifts as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• 6-10 years of experience in SAP Utilities implementation, enhancement, or application support
• Experience in utility industry business processes within power, gas, or water
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: SAP IS-U Rates and Billing, SAP IS-U Device Management, SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounting), SAP IS-U Energy Data Management, or SAP CRM for Utilities
• Experience leading blueprint, As-Is, and To-Be workshops and translating business requirements into SAP functional designs and configurations
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and support documentation
• Experience working on SAP ERP implementation or support projects using current SAP versions
• BE, BTech, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), or equivalent degree from an accredited university
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with mobile solutions or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
• Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices and IT service management tools
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across functional and technical teams
